If you’re a movie buff, The Art House Film Festival is a superb event that will have you salivating. Beginning March 4th and running through May 6, this festival has been in action since 1990 and has hosted no less than 1,898 movie premiers.
This event is an incredible opportunity to see award-winning films before they’re released to the public. Plus, festival-goers have an opportunity to talk to the actual creators of the films. Directors, editors, and actors will be available at select screenings after the show to discuss their films and answer questions.
The festival takes place at AMC Monmouth Mall and AMC Mountainside. Split into two sessions of 5 weeks each, you can buy tickets for one or both sessions ($139/one session or $245/both sessions). Tickets do sell out, so be sure to buy yours now!
A few of the films that may be featured include The Aftermath with Kiera Knightly and Jason Clarke, Aniara, The Hustle, and In The Aisles. Check out more here: http://www.arthousefilmfestival.com/

A huge part of Spring is, of course, Easter. Wearing big, floppy hats, decorating eggs and watching the kids go out with their baskets to hunt the colorful gems is always a lot of fun.
If you’ve got children, the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Historic Village at Allaire is a MUST. With 15,000 eggs hidden on the village green, and hunts taking place every 15 minutes between 11:30 and 4pm, the little ones will be bouncing with glee.
You and your children can also visit with the giant, roaming Easter Bunny, along with an entire cast of costumed characters. There will also be cute chicks and bunnies to pet in a petting area. Other activities include a bubble fairy station, toss-the-egg games, a decorate your own bonnet or basket station, balloon animals, storytelling, and live music. You’ll also be able to wander around the historical buildings—there will even be live demonstrations in the blacksmith shop, bakery, carpenter and tinsmith shops!
Be careful, because this event DOES sell out and you don’t want your little ones to miss the fun! Please note that the hunts are organized into age groups to make the seeking more fair.

It’s located on the Long Branch Promenade, just outside your New Jersey Shore condos at The Lofts Pier Village, so you won’t want have to go far. A great opportunity to admire the oldies, with beautifully restored classics like the old woodies, VWs, and gorgeous old convertibles.
The 25th anniversary Jersey Car show will take on June 16th (with a rain date of June 20th), and will include a special guest speaker, Rob Ida of Ida Automotive—an award winning stylist, builder, and fabricator of cars.
After a long winter it’s normal to feel the residual, stagnant energies of having been indoors for months. Springtime is the perfect time to get outside, shake off the dust, and do something new. Luckily, the Jersey Shore is a fantastic place to live, because it is rife with a variety of activities to keep you having fun. Within easy reach of your own New Jersey Shore condos at The Lofts Pier Village, you’ll find an array of Springtime events to make you happy.
